Well done. This is one way of joing hhands and hearts. Good creativity.
This is very sad. The Oromo community organization is disrespecting the irrecha holiday by organizing a major community event before the Irrecha. Next day is Irrecha. Just cancel it and honor our tradition. Allow the children to learn the tradition. Bring them to the Irrecha day on Sunday.
“One Oromo” in name only! Ginbot -7s, OPDOs, pacifists and unionists have deliberately organized this event to disrupt the Gubaa Ceremony. Whatever your intention is, Washington Metropolitan Area is a pioneer in celebrating this vibrant Oromo culture for more than two decades.
This is a fact on record and no one can deny it. You need to change this event because Gubaa and Irreechaa Ceremony is a once a year event. You can change the community gathering to another time.
I respect your rights not to celebrate it but I object the intention if it is deliberately done.
