Remember, this guy had been playing a big role when OLF and TPLF were signing the Transitional government of Ethiopia in 1991 behind the scene. He was participated in it. And the OLF was made to confine its fighters to a camp surrounded by Shaibias and TPLF army. Some of the OLF fighters were killed in the camp. Some of them died of turtures and diseases. A few were released with the help of International Red Cross. OLF, finally, dismantled as a guerrilla fighter. OLF was crippled. That was what this guy has been doing in the name of avoiding conflict from the Horn of Africa. We Oromo people have been a carpet for TPLF since then. We would have been in a better position if the OLF had’t signed the document.
After the document had been signed, cracks started within the OLF and reached the level of fragmentations we are witnessing today. We have been on the side of losers. Professor has been good at turning the heat off when the water starts boiling. He saved the TPLF. That is what he is fond of doing. The TPLF has been benefiting from him ever since 1991. Any away, once again professor Ephrem is back to do the same job. He is an Ethiopianist where by the Ethiopia should be ruled by Amhara or Tigrian. He wants our Afaan Oromo to be confined to the kitchen and not to be used in schools and universities as medium of instruction. He is well aware of the current trend among the Oromo people will lead to a break up of the Empire.
What is his plan, then, to save immiyye Ethiopia? He believes the Amhara or Tigrian should rule Ethiopia. First, so long as the top is confined to this ethnic groups, Amharic is the official language of the country, and this weakens oromo nationalis. Second, the ruling class should continue settling the Amharas,and Tigrianson on oromo land and make sure the oromos are landless. Third, selling the oromo lands to foreign investors like Chines, Indians, Arabs and Westerns and ditach the Oromo people from their lands. Once they are ditached from their lands, they are no more oromo nationalists. The oromo nationalism will die a natural death like the British, France, Portuegal and other European countries did to many African countris. And finally, our nationalism dies since it is connected with land. It is true if we do not have land there is no Oromo nationalism. This ia some thing that should concern every Oromo.
This is a deadly and dreadful trend; we Oromo people must fight it. We must fight it not only with pens or medias but with bullets. Other wise our physical, cultural, spiritual, and political existences are at stake.

The peace plan Prof Efrem Yishak talks about is something imagenary. It can never be achieved unless Abysinian army is defeated by non-Abysinians army. At any cost, both Tigres and Amharas want to maintain their status quo in the empire. I was daily following up news on the struggle of the Oromo people,specially by OLF’s. It is becoming clear (for me) that the 4 or 5 existing OLF’s have the following features:
1. Daud Ibsa’s OLF —- Eritrea/Shabia version of OLF.
2. Kemal Galch’s OLF—— Amhara version of OLF.
3. Lenco Lat’s OLF (A.K.A Dialogue Forum)–Tigre Version of OLF.
4. Jijjirama OLF—-confused???????????????????
5. Dhugassa Bakakko’s OLF—-Oromo version of OLF, the only real OLF.

Do you people think that he can work outside such frameworks in the current correlation of local and global power balance of power and arrangements of relationships?
At the begining of the 1990s, yes, the professor got involved in the encapments of the olf militia because olf did not acquire enough of its own independent political, military, economic,etc. capacities both at the local and global networking arenas like the combined tplf and eplf brotherly movements being directly and actively supported by the major western powers with the cia at the head, ready to grab Mengistu’s head from under the warm arm of the then Soviet power.
Directly and indirectly the cia might have been conspiring and betting on the goodwill of the combined forces of the eplf and tplf who might have already in the field been long planning to use the olf at the start and then quickly dispose with them for the purpose of playing the ruler and leader of the oromo people and its vast resources unchallenged. The professor was again a willing and convenient seducive cunning fox broker and joker in the game of the stars. He can not have any other choice in the game. He counts himself among the top elitists feudal and aristocratic decadent fat cats that have never seen, experienced, or lived any ordinary normal life of an ordinary Ethiopian. That is partly why he could’t articulate even the simple concep and practice of mediation among the population on the ground. Traditionally it is true that you need not be an elected official to conduct mediation among the the population. Conflict mediation is a volutary and customary social work and is the task the elderly. And now these age old voluntary good peacemaking practice is being highjacked by rutherless tyrants in order to manipulate and convince the weaker party to absolute wills and powers of the stronger party in the engotiation. In reality though, the main objective of mediation is to remedy wrongs or make wrongs right by compensating the weaker offended party and demanding that the stronger compensate the weaker in some agreed or agreeable form or method.
In short, why blame the professor, the tplf, eplf, the west and the rest, The Gods, the Goats or even ME if you yourselves are not able to develop your all round capacities using all the vailable resources at your disposal and present yourselves as viable, trust worthy and proactive players in the 21st century games of the stars? Haa!
