–Part II will continue

Eyobe, thank very much for your interviews with famous persons to know the oromo struggle weaknes and strenght on current issues, specially I appreciate the question you as them-that were /are circulating in mind many of us(oromos,I realyy have now words to express your analytic questions, that is what journalists do,go ahead eyobe hopefully there is something infront of you-did you know how oromo people like you-I wish I could if be like you-you are not only jourmalist but also-economist,political analyst, patriot etc.long live with oromia-we like you you are the one best of oromo journalists-number one as amharic journalist!!
As an Oromo people we must able to talk to each other and convince on the national movement to ataine our freedome and independent from the Empire by any means. We also must promote and harbor and create the enviroment to attract the scholars and youth while the elders and experianced are set to advice us. It must be driven by the nationalists and no negotiotion less than what we have acheived for the last. Our national leaders must stop, stop!
I am a living witness when it comes to detaining, harassment and torturing oromo students, I think I was the first Guinea pig of woyane, they started their experiment on me, Mr.Teshale thank you very much for exposing what Woyane have been doing on OROMO, and journalist Eyob keep it up you are doing a wonder full job.

what???????
Ayyaantuu met many individuals in Oromia who benefited from Judge Teshale’s genuine services. One woman, about 45 years old, told us that she is alive because of Judge Teshale’s cautious work. She is very thankful?????what a shame news I hear from Ayyantuu???This low level slave served weyane for more than 12 years.Let alone him ,the then oromia president and the main slave and Mr.Teshale’s boss by the time said he even couldn’t release his cousin from weyane prison. You telling us 45 year women got fair treal because of this OPDO,how about the 50,000 oromos in jail?
The good news is that Obbo Tashaala abandoned the regime in year 2006.
The news part is puzzling! ANDM members hold meetings to force TPLF for power-sharing in post Meles era in the meanwhile the OPDO members hold meetings to destroy each other in the name of fighting “narrow nationalism”.This proves that OPDO members are useless lots even under the EPRDF strata.
After finishing Friday’s, hence this week’s job; I listened to your programme, i.e. the 1st part of your interview with the famous ex-Oromian judge.
Today, I’m not writing to comment on the content of the judge’s remarks. Hopefully, I will do so after listening to the 2nd part, if need be.
I just wanted to tell you my emotional reaction to the choice of the music. Namely the two female singers in the programme, i.e. the first in the programme, just before the news bulletin and the 2nd from the last, just before Tadele Gamachu; no disrespect intended to Tadele.
As I said to some other people before, listening to these two songs satisfies and nourishes body and soul like the milk and honey of Oromia itself. Both songs stir emotions.
You broadcasters are doing an astonishing job and keep up the brilliant job. Your people and country are proud of you.
what
Dear Brothers/Sisters,
Let us see clearly our long term enemy the Abyssinians; how they managed to control the power in the empire? The first and their main strategy were and are divide and rule. They embedded this into international law in order to confuse international community about their empire. They managed to write false history to declare that the empire of Ethiopia is a single nation (amharha) state for 100 years. They occupied oromia and the land of southern nations. They declared that Ethiopia was one single language nation.
The Abyssinians came to Oromia and to the Southern People land as an outsider from the north. They are the outer enemy to our father land and to the southern people land. The first natural feeling of most outsiders who attain power is to become the insiders. Most Abyssinians try to become Oromo than the native Oromo people. They paint themselves from outside as an Oromo but practically they are against the existence of the identity of Oromo. They used this strategy for the last 120 years in different form with the same content to up root the existence of the identity of Oromo nation.
Menelik used individual Oromo’s as a means to destroy Oromo nation. He appointed Oromo individuals as his own army to fight against their own people. Then he captured Oromia our father land by force using Oromo mercenaries. After that he started working to destroy Oromo values using religion and different strategies given to him by his European masters. He up rooted individual Oromo that resist submission using the Orthodox priests. The job specifications of the Orthodox Church are to make the Oromo values useless not to preach the gospel. That helped him to control mainly central Oromia.
Haileslase carried on the operation started by Menelik using different strategy to eliminate Oromo identity. For example, changing individual Oromo names to amhara names was one of them. The Orthodox Church was forcing Oromo parents to name their children Amhara names under the pretext of Christening. The true face of this activity is to clear Orommummaa.
The name given to the child by his/her parents is GOD given authority. The language of the Childs parent is given to them by GOD. Children are a gift from GOD; he wants that gift named using the language he gave them. GOD knows individuals by their name given to them by their parents. GOD always knows us through the name given to us by our parent in our mother tongue.
Derge used the same policy differently to eliminate Orommummaa. They divided 14 provinces to 33 administrative regions. Under this scheme Oromo people was minority every where, that means they did not have a chance to be elect as local leader. This strategy was used to marginalize from Ethiopian government.
Derge labelled an individual who does not read Amharic as an ignorant. They used illiteracy campaign as a means to portray other language meaningless and useless. It is normal to fight illiteracy but using the language of the community. That helped them to disarm none Amharic speaking nations their language and culture without any difficulty. Every one from none Amharic speaking community used fight to speak and write Amharic in order to earn daily income. It was the strategy that forced individuals to fight his/her own true self. It was a very serious assimilation strategy.
It is very surprising to define ignorance as inability to speak and read single language. I am sure an American professor who does not read and write Amharic is not ignorant. They called all our parents who does not read and write their Amharic ignorant openly and publicly. They used that as a norm of communication every where in the empire of Ethiopia. They humiliated our parents openly to defeat Oromo nationalism (Orommummaa).
Wayne started with federalism painted system from outside. This system is operating using the same principle as their predecessors up rooting the Oromos and the southern nations from their land under the pretext of investment to develop the country. They are leasing the Oromo and southern land to foreigners for up to 99 years. The final strategy they are using to eliminate the Oromo and southern peoples identity is by up rooting them from their God given land. They are moving from one corner to the other corner of this planet to up root Oromo and southern people from their father land. They are lobbying western nation under the pretext of investment to make the Oromo and southern people landless.
That is why independent Oromia and the states of the southern nations is the last means to Abyssinians from their long term crime. Menelik used Gobanna from Oromo and some individuals from the southern people to surrender Oromo and southern people nationalists. This government is using OPDO the Southern people democratic organisation to eliminate Oromo and the southern people nationalists.
The only difference between Melese and Menlik is the first one speaks Tigriagna and Amharic the other one speaks only Amharic; Meles uses Tigrians as his top officials Menilik used Amharas.
Therefore, Wayane is not going to tell us that the change in Oromia came as a good will gift from them to the Oromo and the southern People. The state of Oromia and the southern nation’s regional state are the result of the struggle of Oromo and the southern people. Whether we accepted or not the fore front for this struggle is our oromo and southern brothers/sisters; who picked up arms against our enemy mainly under OLF and other southern people organizations.
Therefore, OLF is a universal set for all individual/groups Oromo’s that stand against Abyssinian system. It included all Oromo individuals/groups irrespective of region, religion, age, and gender. That is why OLF means to the OROMO PEOPLE the whole history of Oromo struggle for freedom.
It is very important any Oromo individuals/groups when they comment about OLF to take into consideration the meaning of OLF for Oromo people. If not they are agitating Oromo People against themselves. Under gada system every individual Oromo has right to give constructive comment not destructive one. It is very important to analysis the impact of our comment on the Oromo struggle. It is good to analysis the publications we read before we use it to implement to Oromo struggle. This will help to avoid communication confusion. Lack of careful analysis cause some individuals/groups echoing the slogan of Abyssinians. They confuse globalization with human rights. That is why some individual’s say that the world is changing we have to submit our selves under Abyssinian rule. Yes the world is always changing but the right of individual is not, it is GOD given right. The struggle of Oromo People is the struggle for national right.
It does not matter whether OLF is currently strong or not. It depends on individual political awareness to evaluate the strength of OLF. Whether we admit it or not the life of Oromo children who died for the OLF programme is the root of the awareness of oromo nationalism. May GOD BLESS those brothers and sisters? They gave their life for us.
OLF is not an individual/group it is the organization founded by the blood of our brothers/sisters. They died under this name for Oromo cause. We may have difference with individual/group of OLF members but it is good and blessing that to remember and respect the program that our brothers/sisters died for. This does not mean to accept individual/group dictatorial attitude in OLF. If an individual/group tries to portray him/herself/themselves above gada law; we have to stand against those behaviours.
Life outside Oromia in Abyssinian territory is hard. The Abyssinians do anything to claim the ownership of Oromian wealth. They are using every thing they think can convince international communities that Oromia is part of Ethiopia. Their main strategy is denying the existence of Oromo people and Oromo language in directly. There is no problem if the Abyssinians adopt Oromian nationality, but they refused to do so for the last 121 years.
If the Abyssinians accept Oromo value and identity and become like fellow Oromians gada system will accommodate them. Their instinct was and is to stay as an outsider. In fact they are pushing as far as they can go: they see them selves different and special than Oromo. They live in Oromia they never bother to practise Oromo language as medium of communication. This proves that they do not consider Oromo language as a language. If they do consider they should use Oromo language while they live in Oromia among Oromo nation.
They still operate under their ancestor’s old strategy to eradicate Oromo People and Oromo national identity in different form. If they did not change their mind for the last 120 years, they are not going to change forever. It is a very crucial sign for the Oromo People to stand firmly to liberate Oromia from the enemy that settled in our country for long periods of time. It is hard to throw them out of Oromia but it is natural the occupiers never last in occupation for ever. The most important issue is the Oromo People has to be single minded to liberate Oromia from the invaders. It is better to advice double minded Oromians to focus on independent Oromia.
There is no other option except liberating Oromia. What the current regime was doing and is doing to silence Oromians to finalize their ancestor’s plan of eliminating Oromo People and Oromo national identity including the ownership of the land. They are operating 24 hours daily to make Oromians beggars using different state machineries. Their first and foremost strategy was to destroy potential Oromians in every sector inside the empire of Ethiopia by labelling them criminals. They destroyed Oromo business men’s under the pretext of the supporters of OLF. They uprooted Oromo intellectuals under the name of political oppositions. So if individual/groups do not see these operations he/she has to seek advice from Oromo brothers/sisters. The system of Abyssinians built against the existence of Oromo nations. It is impossible to build Oromia within the system against it.
Therefore free Oromia is the solution to all these messes created by these invaders. To bring freedom in our father land every Oromians should input to the struggle of Oromo nation. Every Oromians should reject whatever the enemy is doing in Oromia. If any Oromians think that his /her own enemy will do well for Oromia it is wrong. What we see in Oromia is not from our enemy it is the result of the blood of Oromians who gave their life for freedom. The current Oromia is the result of the struggle of heroic Oromians. It is not from the Abyssinians or from some Oromo’s serving Abyssinian system.
Is our priority as an Oromo to focus on our enemy or to create differences among ourselves? Some of ex-OLF leaders are capitalizing on their difference to try to distract Oromo people from their main enemy the Abyssinians. It is good for those groups to respect Oromo people and stop creating difference that distract the struggle. It is important for them to say sorry to Oromo People for the mistakes they made the last 40 years and forgive each other for the benefit of Oromo nation.
Challenging situations conspires to push individuals into the politics of democratizing the empire of Ethiopia. The politics of democratizing the empire is the realm of compromise. It is good to cooperate with other nationalities not under the name of Ethiopia, because it comes with a danger: by always seeking the path of least resistance, the path of reconciliation, you forget free Oromia and sink into Abyssinian empire politics. Instead it is better to see ourselves as Oromo liberation fighters, an outsider to the empire of Ethiopia surrounded by Abyssinian enemies. Constant fight will keep us strong and alert. It will help us to define what we believe in, both for ourselves and for Oromo People.
We should not worry about antagonizing Abyssinians, without antagonism there is no battle, and without battle there is no victory. We do not be lured by the need to be liked by Abyssinians better to be respected, even feared. Victory over Abyssinians will bring us a more lasting popularity.
Because of lack of trust among all nationalities the theory of making democratic Ethiopia does not work. That is why federal Ethiopia is weak and full of human misery. So, to end this human misery every nation in the empire of Ethiopia has to build his own country and depending on global politics in the future they may come together as an economic union. If the theory of democratic Ethiopia does not work for the last 120 years that means it is a wrong theory from the beginning, therefore, it is better to build individual democratic nations first and then think about democratic Ethiopia if necessary and demanding for the region.
TPLF designed the regional state ruled by individual Tigrians from Addiss Ababa. They create leadership that follow the command of TPLF without any questions. It is a federal state of culture and language with out political power. The whole strategy is to control other nation’s resources and use under the name of Ethiopia for Tigray Region. They are about 6% of the populations but they control the following positions in government: PM, Foreign Office, Defence, Intelligence, Business and others.
They always preach that the brought democratic system to the empire for the first time. All their media is full of wrong information to confuse international community in order to get aid from western government. Their mission is not to develop the empire but to milk international donor’s money under the name of development.
Inside the empire their main enemy is the Oromo people. They afraid of OLF so much and any individual Oromo they think he/she is a threat to their power they labelled as OLF in order to prison him/her. They try very hard to convince Oromo People that they brought change for them; when the Oromo people know that Oromia is the outcome of their own daily struggle. The idea, the thinking, the machinery and the process for this struggle is OLF.
It does not matter whether OLF is currently strong or not. It depends on individual political awareness to evaluate the strength of OLF. In order to evaluate the strength of OLF we have to take into consideration all the above variables. OLF built on the life of Oromo children that gave and giving their life to free Oromia.
Dear brothers/Sisters TPLF is not as such stronger than OLF but our own attitude towards free Oromia helped them. Now their time to dictate Ethiopian politics is over. We have to focus on them not on our difference. Young Oromians is not going to be fooled as our elders, they now very well this fact. The interviewer is a very good Oromo as follow his word. It is good to stand for the truth.
TPF is not going to rule Oromia any more. Keep strong fight right and justice in the empire of Ethiopia.
GOD BLESSES BEAUTIFUL OROMO PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OROMIA SHALL BE FREE SOON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would like to express my thanks to both Teshale Abera Luccee, for speaking the truth and Eyob Bayissa, for interviewing different Oromos who are struggling against the collonizer.
The Oromo people have quite enough number of reasons to intensify war aginst the enemy. The oromo people has proud nationalists in millions. The oromo people has elites who can design the road map towards independence. The oromo people has a culture of tolerance and arbitration. I donot understand why we couldnot resolve our differences and struggle in unison. This is a paradox for me.
As solution I suggest the following. We shouldnot wait until we agree on all and every point. Let’s agree on Core points(eg. Selfdetermination upto sessation, the need to use all means of struggle both peacful violence and armed struggle, etc ). We have to ignore those which deviate too much from kaayyoo Oromoo. We shouldnot wait until all our nationalists agree on each and every point. Let few of us come together and redouble the struggle. Sooner or later truth will win and the rest will come.
