Daud is fighting his heart out for the liberation of Oromos with interviews on radio stations. That is how weak he is. He wants us to believe him on interviews.
Shame ! I don’t want to see your face, body. You will not fool us no more.
Obboo Daud never looks someone in charge of guerrilla fighter in the picture. Regrettably, however, he looks like one of the CEOs of Wall Street. Since the disappearance of Meles Zenawi from the public, it has been over two months. Had Obboo Daud been a farsighted leader, he would have started marching on Finfinnee. He is still in Asmara talking about bilisummmaa. It is naive on his part to bring freedom for our people from Asmara. He is nothing but a fish out of water since he has been away from our people for over 14 years. Our Oromoo elders say ” nyaanne barree laalle garree.” You are not serious enough about qubsoo.
If you are really a man and a leader, you should have been among our people. Every thing from A – z are there. What our people lack is a resolute leader that leads them to dismantle the ruthless Tigrean dominated government so as to restore their freedom, dignity, right and identity.
Obboo Daud, if you cannot take our qabsoo back home, just leave your post. Opportunities come and go without being used. You have been unable to expoloite opportunities. Your confinement in Asmara gives our people the impression that one day Obboo Daud will come and liberate us which cannot be materialized forever. Let alone liberating our people, you have been imprisoned yourself.
Daud, you are unable to become Mandela, Ghandi or Che Guevara. You have failed miserably as a leader. I have never seen or heard a guerrilla leader in the east or west in the history of liberation movements who enjoys such a huge grass root support and suitable geographical location but failed.
Obboo Daud, you do not know both our Gadaa and western democracy. You are a double alienated figure. You were supposed to exercise our beautiful Gadaa system within the OLF. You, instead, have been a dictator for the last fourteen years. We were supposed to see two leaders during your chairmanship.
Obboo Daud, look right and left. Look how Meles and Isayas liberated Tgreans and Eritreans respectively. If you do not know, go to one of the libraries in Asmara. There is vast information about Isayas. Isaya fought like a man. Meles too. We did not see them dress up like you when they were in the deserts. On this interview, you look like a king not a guerrilla leader. This is a humiliation for us. You better apply for a doorman. The Tigreans, the tiny minority controlled the whole Ethiopia politically and economically. Why? Because their leader did his homework. Now their people are the best beneficiary from the system, and their farts smell like perfume.
Obbo Daud, stop fooling us. It is getting dark, and you keep saying bilisisummaa is around the corner from Asmara every time on your interview.
Oumar,
who are you? An antagonizer smart foe or an antagonizer stu*pid friend? When we do observe the authors and commentators in the Oromo websites, we just do see two groups of Oromo nationalists and scholars: the ANTAGONIZERS and the INTEGRATORS. The antagonizers do pray the mantra of polarizing the Oromo liberation forces presenting them as if they are irreconcilable enemies being divided into two Oromo camps: pro-union and pro-independence. Usually the antagonizers cry as if the pro-union Oromo are collaborators to the Abyssinian camp. On the other hand, the integrators do look at the two post-bilisummaa Oromo goals (independence/walabummaa vs union/walfaanummaa) of the Oromo as two sides of the same coin (two sides of bilisummaa); they try to assert that both the pro-independence and the pro-union Oromo nationalists are de facto pro-bilisummaa (freedom fighters), who do have two reconcilable alternative objectives. Interestingly Woyane foot soldiers try to camouflage as pro-independent Oromo and curse the pro-union nationalists or the vice versa just for the sake of sawing a discord in Oromo liberation camp. Their motive is clear: Oromo should be divided, antagonized and polarized in order to be kept weak and ruled. What is pity here is that some of our nationalists and scholars simply fall in this trap of the Woyane cadres and do the bidding of our enemy without any payment. Actually Woyane has hired a lot of cadres doing the antagonizing job with the millions of dollars being invested on this project. May God open the eyes of our fool antagonizer Oromo nationalists, who are still doing the job of Woyane without payment!
You conducted a brilliant interview with Obbo D. Ibsa, OLF-chairman. Congratulations.
Your questions were inquisitive and relevant to the current prevailing political situation in the horn of Africa. Equally, the chairman’s answer were mature and statesman like as we expected from the leader.
Among the many questions raised, I just wanted to make observation, only, on three points.
1. One of the question put to the chairman was “how do you see Oromos and/or Oromia VS Ethiopia?” I thought this was core issue. His reply was that the relationship we have is the relationship that existed between a coloniser and the colonised nation. Then he went into detail about its back ground. He showed us that this country called “Ethiopia” was/is a construct. The solution, therefore, like any colonised people is we want to break free from this status and want to be ruled by our own leaders.
2. He also reaffirmed that nobody on this earth or in this universe, not Abyssinians, not western powers, etc; who tell us to temper/lower our goals, could stop us from achieving what we want as a nation. The western powers, or any other power that be, will talk to us properly when we have shown/proven that we have political, military and diplomatic power and he went on and gave examples. Thus; as the chairman said, it’s all up to us to fight for the cause we believe in and accomplish our goals.
3. The chairman was also magnanimous in saying, regardless of the last few difficulty years, he wanted everybody to stop bickering and he wanted everyone to come together and work together to achieve our ultimate goal.
The chairman spoke like a statesman, leader and showed his high intellectual calibre.
I hope everyone, who cares about the blight of our nation, listens to his message and act accordingly.
However, to those who every time criticise and spew vitriol and bile, I say you have no moral or ethical authority to denigrate and malign people who have given a lot to the cause. Ask yourself and your conscious, as to what you have contributed to the cause other than throwing mad and spleen.
I hope everyone judges someone else fairly and with justification.
I can not stand this guy, I can not hear his voice anymore… so irritating. He does not know he is irrelevant. You know how the Wayyane’s told you that you are irrelevant ? by talking to Ogaden( saba bicu) while you are farting in Asmara wishing you represent Oromo ( saba guddaa). I don’t understant where you get the moral to get on the radio and talk. You have failed the Oromo people. Why hold on to pwoer ? please just go ! you are not capable of leading ? you are westing every and each opportunity that may come around…
The whole thing is laughable…. the guy is asking in Amharic ….and the fool is speaking in Oromo kkkkk so the question is for Amharic speakers and the answer is for Oromo’s ? It’s like the Amharas listen to what I am asking, the Oromos please grab a translator if you whis to hear what I just asked. Yaa Rabbi baruma akkamii keessa jirraa ? Just Q & A all in Amharic or Oromo ? Rabshaan kun maal jamaa ?
Yikes! please hide your ulgy face! you stink too ! Asmaraa teettee joollee Oromoo hin ficisiisin. As if you have anyback up. Yeroo tokko fincila diddaa gabrummaa, yeroo kaan qeerroo jettee joollee ficisiisuun aangoo tee tikfatta.
