Ethiopia’s "government" attacks Macha-Tulama, Jimma Times media & Oromo opposition party

http://nazret.com/blog/media/blogs/new/250px-Ethiopia-Oromia.pngOromiya, Nazret (May 13) - In an effort to destroy all peaceful Oromo movements and institutions in Ethiopia, the Meles Zenawi Woyane regime is attacking all Oromo civil society members including the famous MTA, the OFDM and Jimma Times media according to OSG, Ethioguardian website and other sources.

Most of the Macha-Tulama Association (MTA) members remain in prison while those released are coming under constant government surveillance. According to OSG, even the released Macha Tulama Association's (MTA) non-political members are today being persecuted and spied on by Woyane “government” agents.

Let us all Ethiopians not forget what the MTA members have endured the last few years under Woyane and we should pay tribute to their peaceful struggle for justice for Oromo Ethiopians. Many MTA members were killed or were forced to flee for being an independent Oromo organization. While those imprisoned have been tortured or died from sickness. All of this is more remarkable since the MTA does not even have a political agenda similar to OLF. The MTA is a genuine Oromo-Ethiopian organization with a stated mission of bringing equal rights of Oromos inside Ethiopia. It is a social and cultural organization. More Shocking information exposed by OSG is that some Oromo families of the political prisoners from the south can not even visit their sons and daughters because they can’t speak Amharic or Tigringa languages, the only languages allowed by the prison guards. (Since some of the prison Guards were amharic speaking Oromos, this shows how much brainwashed the OPDO/TPLF Oromos have become today!)

Meanwhile, Woyane is rejecting license for an independent newspaper in Ethiopia. According to the website Ethioguardian, Zenawi’s Woyane regime rejected Jimma Times media application to establish private Oromiffa newspaper in Ethiopia because Woyane is afraid of an independent Oromo-centered media organization. Woyane didn’t reject Jimma Times’s application only one time, but it rejected THREE TIMES during many months, according to the Ethioguardian website.

Read the full story here at Ethioguadrian website at http://www.ethioguardian.com/news.php?extend.1802 about the Woyane attack on Jimma Times and other reported bureaucratic entanglement techniques used by Woyane.

Meanwhile, Woyane government agents have infiltrated inside the Oromo Federalist Democratic Movement (OFDM) using a secret agent named Mesfine Nemera (who was a low level member of OFDM).

After OFDM’s honorable leader Dr. Bulcha Demeksa and the executive committee decided to boycott the fake election by Meles Zenawi’s party, Mr. Mesfine Nemera insulted OFDM for boycotting the election and erratically yelled in front of Ethiopian national Television, trying to embarrass OFDM executive committee members. He was bribed by the TPLF “government” to make the OFDM appear weak and divided internally and sources are now saying that, what Woyane is trying to do to OFDM is the same sick thing it did to the ONC.

Let us not forget that Woyane sent its secret agents to infiltrate inside the Oromo National Congress (ONC) opposition party two years ago and divided the party. But the real ONC led by Dr. Merera Gudina exposed the Woyane agents and started a new Oromo opposition party called Oromo Peoples Congress (OPC). So if anyone hears or reads about ONC from today on, everyone needs to remember that it is the Woyane ONC party, not the original or real ONC. The real ONC was forced to change its name to OPC.
